ISAIAH 6:1-8
Isaiah answered God's call and he accepted to be God's messenger.
PSALM 93:1-2.5
God is king, he dressed in Majesty, God dressed, bonded waist force. Truly, it has erect the world, not sway; The Throne is upright since long ago, from everlasting you are. Your Settings are very firm; Your God deserves the holy, O Lord, for all time.
MATTHEW 10:24-33
Jesus reminded his Disciples not to be afraid of life-threatening challenges even when they were in the missionary work.
DEVOTIONALS
The first reading of this heart deals with Isaiah willing to answer God's call to be sent to Israel.
Isaiah 6:8
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for me?" Then my sahuti said, "Here I am, send me!"
The Gospel reading about Jesus tells his disciples not to be afraid to face threats while they are running a missionary task.
Matthew 10:28
Fear not those who can kill the body, But the unpowerful kill the soul; be afraid especially to him in power to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Fear or a feeling of fear of threats to ourselves, Not necessarily the case, let alone God promises to protect us from the danger as we are running a missionary task.
Do not be afraid though it is not easy to overcome the fear of torment and persecution that threatens the loss of life but remember Jesus ' promise will be with us.
Matthew 28:20b
And know, I am with you always to the end of time.
Often before fear, indeed, we are afraid to face severe problems beyond our means because there is a time before it comes the feeling of a gripping God's feelings to be fearless to cause feelings of fear.
We can only fear God, and other things we cannot be afraid and fearless.
Surely Jesus emphasized in fear or subjection to God.
James 4:7
Therefore submit to God, and be Satan's adversary, and he will flee from you!
The sense of fear, not a feeling of fear but fear of God means submission to God.
Why should we fear/bow to God? For Alalh is the creator while we are the creations of God so how can we dare to stand against God.
Indeed, there is a bold fight against God because it is supported by the Power of Satan/Devil but will not be able to defeat the power of God (Romans 8:31), surprisingly, there is still a Christian who is not afraid of God.
To test whether we are subject to God is to ask ourselves what we have been doing according to God's commandment and have kept the sanctity of ourselves?
There are two commandments of God who love the Lord God and love others and the second commandment is to tell the gospel.
